Dried Corn

Dried CornYes, this is corn. According to the instructions, "To rehydrate, place the dried corn in hot water for 10 minutes." From another corn drying source: dried corn will keep for a very long time, and is a great way to store corn. You can dry your own corn by spreading it out on a tray in your oven, setting it to warm and waiting a couple days.

A half cup of dried corn will re-hydrate to yield one cup. Dried corn can be used in soups and stews, eaten as a snack, or ground as cornmeal.
