T-fal BeerTenderT-fal BeerTender. “The ultimate at home draught beer experience”.

The BeerTender works with kegs made by Heineken. As of now you can only get Heinken and Heineken Light kegs. (I have tried one keg of each and I prefer Heineken over Heineken Light) Supposedly they are coming out with different beers in the near future. You may see other mini-kegs available, but the difference is that the Heineken DraughtKeg is pressurized.

BeerTender TemperatureThe BeerTender is really a small fridge that surrounds the keg and keeps the beer at the optimal temperature of 39 degrees. There is an indicator light on the top of the machine that will light up once this temperature has been reached.

cornYes, this is corn. According to the instructions, “To rehydrate, place the dried corn in hot water for 10 minutes.” From another corn drying source: dried corn will keep for a very long time, and is a great way to store corn. You can dry your own corn by spreading it out on a tray in your oven, setting it to warm and waiting a couple days.

A half cup of dried corn will re-hydrate to yield one cup. Dried corn can be used in soups and stews, eaten as a snack, or ground as cornmeal.

This is one of those places where you are glad that nothings seems to have changed. It just has that feeling, and it is a good feeling. It is from a time when families would pile in the station wagon and head to the Flying W Ranch for a special night.
